The colours used in the background artwork (an abstract painting which I did on canvas consisting of overlapping diagonal brush strokes scumbled over each other) are based on the colours of the garments of the priesthood (Aaron and his sons, Exodus 28) and the tabernacle (Exodus 26). The colours are gold, blue, purple, and scarlet thread; and linen (white). Also, the veil in Solomon’s temple: “And he made the veil of blue, purple, crimson, and fine linen, and wove cherubim into it.” 2 Chronicles 3:14.
