In this photo, I particularly like the impressionistic pastel coloured bokeh background (more good luck than good management). Bokeh is the Japanese word for “blur”.

Double-eyed Fig Parrot photos – a pair of Double-eyed Fig Parrots eating figs in Cairns Cemetery.
After planting a fig tree (Ficus racemosa) in Cairns, a few years later I was rewarded with at least 17 figp arrots (that I could see and count) feeding in my tree at the same time. If you stood under the tree, little bits of fig rained down on you.
The photos below are of a pair of fig parrots feeding in a native sandpaper fig tree in Cairns cemetery.
