Wallaby photos to download and print
The photos of Mareeba Rock Wallabies were taken at Granite Gorge, North Queensland, Australia. These are wild wallabies, but they have become so accustomed to people that you can feed them by hand.
Wallabies and kangaroo babies, called “Joeys” in Australia, spend much of their time in the warmth and comfort of their mother’s pouch.
Wallaby photo. Cute creatures seem to know that they are cute.
Wallaby photo. This is a mother wallaby with her baby asleep in her pouch. You can clearly see the entrance hole of her pouch.
“Good morning!” The Joey pokes its head out of mum’s pouch.
“Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed”. The same wallaby baby and mum – this photo was taken a little later and the Joey is finally awake.
