Cottage paintings by Sian Butler:
The paintings are from scenes in Tasmania, Australia, or capturing the essence of such scenes. I think that a British influence can be seen, while in summer, there is more of a feel of being somewhere near the Mediterranean sea. Sian’s ability to portray contrasting textures with acrylic paint, in a style which is both photo realistic and painterly at the same time, is truly amazing!
